Conclusions and Recommendations
The Fall AEE/CEE was one of the most successful events hosted by Oh
Canada and Oh America to date. However, to address the needs and
concerns of participating schools, the following areas will be worked on
to provide better results:
1.
Additional food options will be provided.
2.
Further work to prepare for the meeting between school representatives
and our counselors will be done.
3.
Combine the return transportation from Kaohsiung to Taipei in the
registration fee of the fair.
4.
Identify a new location for the Kaohsiung event – the Dream Mall. The
Dream Mall is the newest and largest shopping and entertainment center
in Kaohsiung.
5.
Increase the student turnout in Taichung and Kaohsiung.
Participant Comments
-
The
Fairs were well publicized and very organized. We believe OH America
will be a good source of students this year and in the future.
-
The
events are well-organized, good management and clear expectations.
Wonderful and helpful local translators.
-
Each
year the organization of the fairs improves. Everyone did a terrific
job! The information posters were really helpful to attract students.
-
I
found that your staff do recommend and encourage students come to our
booth for more program information so I have chance meet some
gratified applicants. Thanks!!
-
I am
very impressed with the enthusiasm and work ethics of the translators,
good job.
-
Good
job! I am also expecting hard work and follow up from OH! Canada
staff your round.
-
Remind translator to set up the booth only once we arrive our booth.
-
I
would have liked more specific information about the Oh Americas
staffs’ availability to meet personally with me next time.
-
Have
more vegetarian meals available or make the preference choice in the
sign-up process.
-
Taichung and Kaohsiung ‘s schedules are not so convenience for some of
the people.
-
The
fair went well, it’s a useful way to get a feel for the Taiwan
marketing.
-
We
get good students in Kaoshiung since many students come form the Hotel
school.
-
Everything is good except the fair location in Kaohsiung. Will we be
able to have our fair somewhere else in Kaoshiung?
-
I
hoped for a little more emphasis on high school programs. Although I
was happy that there was only ten high schools .Oh! Canada took very
good care of me. Thank you.
-
The
AEE/CEE exceeded my expectations. The level of service and
professionalism is outstanding! You really take care of the needs of
both delegates and students.
-
Have
some of the schedule post in English so schools can also know what is
happing.
-
This
was a very well planed event. The staff was helpful, translators
impeccable, venues well laid out.
-
We
will attend the AEE/CEE in the future; it’s the best one in Taiwan.
