Brief Introduction (100 words):
Kainan
is a young, dynamic, and innovative university. Fully accredited by Taiwan’s
Ministry of Education, the university currently has some 8,000 academically
talented and highly motivated students. Our highly qualified and dedicated
faculty members bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classrooms
through their teaching, research, and public service, broadening the
intellectual horizons of their students. Kainan prepares students to
confidently face life’s challenges, engage in self-discovery, and contribute
to society. Kainan University prides itself on excellent instruction in and
out of the classroom, with an internationalized environment that dramatically
expands our students’ global perspective.

Kainan has a fully equipped, modern campus. Its
facilities include three dormitories (two on campus), a seven-story library,
an international conference center, an extensive network of publicly
accessible computers with Internet access, a food court, a large gym, a
fitness center, a baseball diamond, and fully equipped computer labs.
Extracurricular activities (75 words)
Kainan
offers a wide variety of extracurricular activies. The campus has more than
eighty different registered organizations, and students are free to set up
additional ones. The general categories under which most Kainan organizations
fall are as follows: leadership, athletics, arts, academics, music,
amusement, service, and fellowship.
